An expert is someone who has a broad and deep competence in terms of knowledge, skill and experience through practice and education in a particular field.

A Beginner is one who is new in the field and realises that there are millions of things which he needs to learn about the subject. He is always ready to learn new things and learns and becomes better from his mistakes.

All the persons who are successful have one characteristic in common, they have an expert’s mind along with Beginner’s insight. That means they are expert in their particular field of work but are still able to think like a beginner. They believe that no matter how much they learn, there are always thousands of new things they don’t know about the subject and that’s why they are always ready to learn new things and most importantly, they do not hesitate from committing mistakes.

We all need to have this kind of attitude towards our passion, profession and career. No matter how much we learn, it is never the end and that’s what motivates the winners to keep learning.

Winners Focus on…

“Winning isn’t everything, it is the only thing” said by Vince Lombardi. Winning is an attitude and it takes not only training your body but your mind and soul as well.

Winners focus on the goal and losers focus on the winners.

This is the most important, most easy and most difficult line to understand. If we truly understand the meaning of this line then nothing can stop us from winning. In order to win, our body and mind should cooperate with each other and all attention should be on the goal only and nothing else.

All the great winners you can see in the world have been on the top of the world just because they focus on their goal and not on anyone else. They didn’t felt bad about someone getting in competition with them or getting ahead of them at some point rather, they took it positively to improve their game and come back more strongly. That’s why they have become an icon to the world.

So, focus on your own improvement rather than on your competitor’s.

Trick to identify Opportunity

Opportunities are the road-maps to the success. They come to everyone at one point or other but most of us fail to recognize it and then it is gone. So, the main problem is how to identify the opportunity.

One of the main tricks of opportunity is that it has sly habit of slipping in by the back door, and often comes disguised in the form of misfortune or temporary defeat.

Most of us think that opportunity comes through the main door but it may slip through the back door. Further, we think that it comes in light i.e. in the period of success while it may come in the dark i.e. in the period of temporary defeat. This is one of the main reasons most of us fail to recognize opportunity.

Failure: A speed breaker

Whenever any person tries to do something new and worthy, sooner or later, he is destined to face some sort of failure, a temporary failure. But failure doesn’t mean the end of the world. It does not mean quitting what you have started.

Failure is just a speed breaker in your road to success.

All we need to do is to reduce our speed, change the gear, carefully pass the speed breaker and speed up again. We will never reach our destination if we just stop at the speed breaker. Also, just like smooth roads never make good drivers, plain path of success can teach a man what is the real meaning of success.

Reading books

Reading a good book 10 times is better than reading 10 books 1 time where you don’t get the message correctly.

In the above picture, both the persons have read many books on topics like Inspiration, Innovation, Experience, Knowledge. But the problem is that they have read those books only once and have failed to understand the true point of the book and that’s why they have not gained as much wisdom as they should have gained.
